Ever have an idea that needs to be simplified because it’s too complex, technically confusing for the layperson or too big to wrap your head around, let alone explain it to your target audience?!?!?

The world is evolving at a faster rate than ever before. If you don’t keep up, your business may go down. You want people to believe in what you do so that they will grow with you. So you keep improving and releasing new offerings.

You create a talking head explainer video, maybe add in some graphics and try your best to explain your mission so that they get as excited about your offer as you do. But, you notice something. People aren’t staying tuned to watch. In fact, they are barely watching 20 seconds of the video.

Explainer videos have evolved. Marketers looked at science and took notice of how people retain knowledge. What keeps them engaged and what makes them check out.

When uber, big-brained engineer, physician and thought-leader entrepreneur Peter Diamandis wanted to share his vision for exponential technology advancements (like 3D printing, robotics, artificial intelligence and synthetic biology) at his Abundance 360 Summit, he called upon Erik and I and our team at The Draw Shop to get his message across.

We created this explainer video.

Erik and I intend to grow exponentially and this summit gave us the tools to do so. We invite you to consider these 3 questions that Peter asked us:

  1. How will technology affect your business over the next ten years?
  2. Will you continue on a linear path and get left behind or will you grow exponentially?
  3. What can you do to get your audience to see you as a game-changer?

It can be overwhelming when thinking exponentially or trying to describe the benefits of your latest product or offer.  And what a disappointment it is when what you think your best explanation for something that could radically change lives… falls flat.

Our mission is to help game-changers like Peter, get brains around big concepts. We’re constantly looking at what exists and what we can create so that messages are communicated in a concise and appealing manner.

What will explainer videos look like 100 years from now? Keep checking in with us, we can at least cover the next 50.

P.S. Did we tell you we’re enrolled in Singularity University? Check it out. It’s pretty fricken’ amazing!

Till next time…
